As the CTBUH 2023 International Conference draws to a close in Singapore, we will focus on the theme of “Humanizing High Density – Nature.” This theme will be thoroughly explored through presentations by industry leaders and experts. When exploring nature, our speakers will not only look towards the future but also towards the past. What have we done well, and what can we do better to create cities where inhabitants and the environment thrive?
We are pleased to announce the following speakers for the closing plenary in Singapore at the CTBUH 2023 International Conference:
Patrick Bellew
David Gottfried
Ryan Lee
Patrick Bellew, the 2023 recipient of the Fazlur Khan Lifetime Achievement Award and founding director of Atelier Ten will speak to his extensive experience in the integration of environmental and building systems with architecture around the world.
David Gottfried is known as the father of the global green building movement, founding the U.S. Green Building Council and World Green Building Councils – starting a global sustainable building movement. He will share his insights as Chief Global Impact Officer for Blue Planet Systems and inspire what is possible for the future. Watch a recent interview with Gottfried and CTBUH.
Ryan Lee is an integral member of the wildlife and park management in Singapore and will speak to the multi-disciplinary and science-based approach to planning greenery in the city and will share efforts and approaches in skyrise urban greenery.
