We are pleased to announce that CapitaLand Group is a Diamond Sponsor of the CTBUH 2023 International Conference, Humanizing High Density—People, Nature & the Urban Realm, taking place 16–21 October, in Singapore & Kuala Lumpur. CapitaLand Group will host the conference’s opening networking reception at Green Oasis, a verdant aerie located on levels 17–20 of CapitaSpring, a spectacular mixed-use tower in the heart of Singapore. Affording commanding multidirectional views of the city and harbor through its “peeled-away” façade, Green Oasis is the perfect setting to reconnect with colleagues and make new acquaintances.

Designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group and completed in 2021, the 280-meter CapitaSpring tower is one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. It houses offices, residences, restaurants, a sky garden on the roof level, and numerous amenities for occupants, including a pool and exercise area. Singular among its features, though, is the Green Oasis, a large open-air enclave that extends upward over 35 meters. Lush with trees and greenery—it contains nearly 40,000 plants of more than 70 species—a botanical promenade, and multiple seating and gathering areas, it’s an ideal place to relax and network.

CapitaSpring is indicative of the many eye-catching and technically advanced buildings developed by CapitaLand Group that focus on integrating nature and sustainability. For example, CapitaGreen, also located in Singapore, has a façade that incorporates living plants and a wind-catching structure on its roof, which acts as a cooling system, flushing fresh air throughout the building. (CapitaGreen was recognized with a 2015 CTBUH Award of Excellence for Best Tall Building in Asia & Australasia.) Also, Sky Habitat, near Bishan in central Singapore, is a complex of two residential towers with a stepped geometry of terraces, linked through vegetated community skybridges.
Headquartered in Singapore, CapitaLand Group is one of the largest real estate companies in Asia, with a diverse portfolio of award-winning buildings that have shaped the built environment in more than 260 cities. The company focuses on real estate investment management and real estate development that is sustainable and contributes to the environmental and social well-being of the communities in which they operate.
